HOW TO APPLY
We want every viable application to have the best possible chance of success, and recommend potential applicants follow the steps below.
1. Please familiarise yourself with our charitable objectives. We receive many applications that do not meet the objectives and therefore cannot be progressed. The Trust is not able to award grants for tackling homelessness, although applications for projects that prevent homelessness through meeting our objectives can be considered.
2. Before starting your application, we recommend an initial chat with us. Reach out to us on info@safedepositsscotlandtrust.com and we can arrange an informal call to discuss your vision, how it relates to the PRS and how it meets the aims and guidelines of the Trust.
3. Download, complete and submit our application form.We'll then review your application before progressing it to the Trustees to consider. If we have any queries at assessment stage, we can give you the opportunity to address these. Want to add a voice to your application? We welcome video pitches (maximum duration 4 minutes) - simply attach the video file with your application form and email to info@safedepositsscotlandtrust.com
Please submit your application for funding by Thursday 23rd May 2024
SafeDeposits Scotland Charitable Trust will consider all initial expressions of interest, and may be able to fund some quickly. Other ideas may need further development before they are eligible.
Ideas should fulfill the aims of SafeDeposits Scotland Charitable Trust by enhancing the workings of the private rented sector in Scotland through advancing education or information, and providing tangible benefits to current or prospective landlords and tenants.
